This very unique bolo tie was created by Navajo artist Jabe Dubois.  He has set 7 small green variscite stones around a large 1 3/8" tall brown variscite stone which has beautiful natural gold matrix and alot of it..  The stones are set into a simple sterling silver setting and surrounded with a raised and hand chiseled border.  The brown leather braided tie has silver tips with silver lizards at the ends.  This bolo truly seems to speak of the magic of the desert from which the stones come.
The bolo measures 2 1/4" tall by 2 1/2" across.  The entire bolo is made of thick silver and the entire bolo tie weighs 78.9 grams or 2.8 ounces.  It is signed on the back with Jabe Dubois JB hallmark and is also dated 1978.  This very unique handcrafted bolo tie is in great vintage condition and ready to be worn.
