The Steinel 42301 HAWK multipurpose kit includes an HG 2300 EM heat gun, which emits airstreams at temperatures ranging from 80 to 1,100 degrees F up to 15.4 cubic feet per minute (CFM) at a pressure of 3,000 pascal. The gun’s temperature and airflow can be varied continuously with two slide switches. The straight form gun has a field-changeable heating element with a coil life of up to 500 hours and electronic thermocouple control to precisely regulate the output temperature. The HG 2300 EM has a sealed direct current (DC) brushless motor and a power cord that can be changed without opening the enclosure. The kit includes a silicone seam roller and two angle slit nozzles for PVC lap welding, a 90 degree corner nozzle, a welding nozzle, two reduction nozzles, an extra heating element, and a heavy duty carrying case for safe transport and storage. It is suitable for many applications from welding roofing materials and industrial fabrics to stripping paint and heating shrink tubing.

For heat guns, this warranty are tools that have been subject to abuse, tools that have been opened or repaired by anyone other than STEINEL, tools that have been modified in any way or mounted onto machinery/equipment, and tools that have been put into continuous operation. STEINEL heat tools are hand held power tools and are intended for use as such. Any other use voids STEINEL’s warranty.
