Nude Half Doll / Pincushion Doll with Modesty Pose, 4 ½ inches high, unmarked, probably German, probably early 1900’s, she was used as a top to a lamp and was wired to the base so there are marks from the wires and a small chip just below one of the sew holes, also from where the wire was attached, beautiful hand painted features, a big, curly molded and hand painted wig with the curl ends loose on her back, she is nude but her arms and hands are molded against her body in a very modest way, nice example.
